Lennar wins Default Ruling against Chinese Drywall Maker

Congratulations to our friends at Lennar Corporation, who won a default ruling against Chinese drywall manufacturer Taishan Gypsum Co.  As Paul Brinkman reports in the South Florida Business Journal, the Chinese drywall manufacturer “tried to avoid responding to U.S. lawsuits is subject to a default ruling in U.S. courts…”   The defective drywall, commonly known as Chinese Drywall, contains excessive amounts of sulfur and can cause damages such as corrosion in air conditioner coils, copper wiring and piping.  If you suspect your property may have defective drywall installed, call m2e Consulting!  We have extensive experience in assisting clients with defective drywall.
