m2e’s Esteemed Client Greenberg Traurig climbs the Am Law 100 Ranking

Greenberg Traurig generated about $1.3 billion last year — more than the gross domestic product of several Caribbean nations — to move up a spot on a national ranking of the 100 largest law firms in the U.S. by revenue.
Greenberg climbed to No. 14 on the Am Law 100 survey released Monday by The American Lawyer, an ALM affiliate of the Daily Business Review.
Greenberg moved up by adding about $51 million in gross revenue in 2015, a 4 percent increase over the previous year.
“There’s no question that part of the fundamental business plan of the Am Law 100s is growth through acquisition.” Greenberg led the charge, adding 79 lawyers and five equity partners, while Holland & Knight followed with 35 new attorneys and four equity partners. Akerman made 14 additions and brought in five equity partners.
