During the CIO roundtable the panelists discussed what really goes into hiring new talent for an IT position. One of the panelists was our very own Ivan Mladenovic, CIO of Preemo, an IT support company. He mentions that it is much more than just salary. He goes on to say that employers are finding it difficult to find a candidate that falls somewhere between the entry level and senior management. Most prospective applicants lack skills in communication and fall short of the people-friendly attitude many small businesses are hoping for.
