JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary / Objective
  • Support team in executing basic professional and technical engineering tasks ranging from inspections, reporting, plan preparation/review to contract administration, under direct supervision of assigned supervisor.
Essential Functions
  • Participate in current engineering project activities.
  • Perform engineering research and planning.
  • Provide basic technical assistance to engineers related to design, analysis, testing, etc.
  • Provide recommendations and mine for improvement opportunities.
  • Execute other duties as assigned.
Experience
  • Applicable internship experience and/or work experience preferred, but not required.
  • Participation in professional societies or extracurricular activities.
Education Level & Certifications
  • Must be in the process of completing a BS or MS in Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Possession of a valid State of Florida Driver’s License.
Education Area
  • Preferred mechanical, electrical, civil, or structural.
Skills
  • Strong communication, organization, and computer skills.
  • Technical understanding of basic engineering principles and business etiquette.
