The Department of Energy and BASF will honor 10 U.S. home builders for their exceptional achievements during a ceremony at this years NAHB International Builders Show in Orlando, FL on Thursday, Feb. 9th. This marks the fourth year for the Annual Builders Challenge Award recognizing builders in two categories: Most Homes Qualified and Maximized Energy Performance Homes.
Our longtime client, Lennar took top honors in the Most Qualified category, with 2,182 homes built in 2011 that meet the Builders Challenge criteria – which call for, among other things, homes to use at least 30 percent less energy than a typical new home built to code.
Congrats Lennar!
